Gupt Jaal is a film directed by Rajiv Rai and featuring Bobby Deol in the lead role along with Manisha Koirala, Kajol, and Om Puri. It also stars Raj Babbar and Kulbhushan Kharbanda in an extended cameo. The film was distributed under the banner Trimurti Films and had a budget of 9.50 crore. The plot of Gupt Jaal
The film revolves around Sahil Sinha (Bobby Deol), who is accused of murdering his stepfather Governor Jaisingh Sinha (Raj Babbar), a prominent political figure. Sahil had an argument with his stepfather over his love for Isha (Manisha Koirala), his personal secretary's daughter, whom Jaisingh disapproved of. Jaisingh wanted Sahil to marry Sheetal (Kajol), his friend's daughter, who was secretly in love with Sahil. Sahil tried to stab Jaisingh but was stopped by his mother Sharda (Priya Tendulkar).
