Jaisalmer, Night in Open Sky

The dunes are a beautiful place to spend an evening and night. If you are lucky you get to see some clear skies with lots of stars. The good is simple and staff is friendly. The camel ride is fun but avoid if you have back problems. We got to see some deers running across the dunes on our way to the dunes. Was an amazing site. Carry spare lights for try night. The staff stays over post dinner and sleep a little away from guests stay. You have the option if a khat (iron cot) with matress and quilt and a tent stay. We chose the former. The safari also took us to the abandoned village of Kuldhara which is a beautiful place to see. The entire trip was on a Jeep from fort and back. The onward last 5-6kms is on a camel and morning you have a choice of making a camel ride of a Jeep through the dunes. Happy traveling !!
